Social Loathing

I just realized that there is no way I can feel decent about going to the Kingdom of Loathing gathering in Connecticut.  Partly because it's Father's Day weekend and partly because I have a habit of getting sick after almost every KoL meetup.  If I did indeed get sick, I would have to take time off work and I can't afford to take time off from my current job and my job hunt.

Since I'm saving up money to go to KoL Con III, I can't afford to loose that money.  And since I getting sick means loosing money, I would most certainly catch some bug.  That's just the way it works when it comes to these things.

So yeah, sorry guys.  I would love to come, but it just would not be a smart move.  Have fun, okay?  Have lots of fun.
